California Behavior Center is a highly regarded professional member of the health care community. This center has serviced individuals with developmental disabilities since 1976. We care enough to give the best professional services available. Participants will always be involved in advanced and individualized learning methods to promote all areas of development.

The Day Activity Center is an extension of services founded on experience and dependability. Participants will:
• develop and increase self-help skills in all areas.
– our home economics program includes hygiene, money management, grooming and cooking
• participate in a regular exercise program which includes jazzercize, swimming, dance and weight control classes
• learn cognitive skills such as writing, math and reading
• be involved in recreational activities, daily field trips and summer
day camp
• participate in arts and crafts
• enjoy dramatic arts, films and videos
• learn socialization skills in and out of the program
• diminish indifference, irritability and disorientation

This program will combat the emotional, cognitive and physical problems that have previously inhibited participation in the environment of consumers. Our goals are to maintain and enhance the physical, social and psychological well being of our consumers.
